Sponsor shall have full right and power to copy, publish, broadcast, display, distribute, use, edit, translate, alter, combine with other material, reuse and adapt any or all portions of the Entries in any way and for any purpose whatsoever, at any time, now or in the future, in any media now known or hereafter devised throughout the world in any manner whatsoever and for any purpose without additional compensation or right of approval. All Entries become the sole property of the Sponsor, and will not be acknowledged or returned. By submitting an Entry, you agree that your submission is gratuitous and made without restriction, that it will not place Sponsor under any obligation other than as stated in these Official Rules, that Sponsor is free to publish or otherwise disclose the concept contained in the Entry on a non-confidential basis to anyone or otherwise use the concept without any additional compensation to you. FAQ

Q. What is the Make Your Move contest?

A. The Make Your Move contest invites parents, teachers and school staff to get kids moving for at least 60 minutes and submit a video showcasing how their kids get out and active at school in a creative way. Five Grand Prize-winning schools receive a $15,000 grant. See Official Rules for details.

Q. Does the participating school have to be a Fuel Up To Play 60 school to enter?

A. Yes. Starting on 10/29/13 at 12:00 AM CST click here and fill out the "School Information" section of the entry form to see if your kid's school is a Fuel Up To Play 60 school. Find out more about school eligibility in the Official Rules.

Q. Who can be in the video?

A. Students in grades K-12 at your kid's school can be in the video, which includes your kids and their classmates. Each student from the participating school appearing in the video must have submitted a signed parent release agreement form. The video must feature only students in grades K-12. However, limited footage of adults will not result in disqualification. See Official Rules. for details.

Q. Is a parent release agreement form required for each child in the video?

A. Yes. Schools must keep signed parental release agreement forms for each student appearing in video and will be required to provide such forms to Sponsor upon request. The parent release agreement form is available at the Web site.

Q. Why do you need a parent release agreement, and what do I do with them?

A. Because we will be posting the videos that meet the guidelines listed in the Official Rules, you need to have a parent release agreement form completed for each child who appears in the video. All consent forms must be filed and stored at the school — the school will need to have them in order to claim the prize if your entry on behalf of a Fuel Up To Play 60 School is considered as a potential winner.

Q. What should be in the video?

A. The video should demonstrate physical activity in a fun, energetic way. The kids in your video can be doing anything they like, as long as they're getting active. Creativity and originality count! Find out more about the judging criteria in the Official Rules.

Q. What shouldn't be in the video?

A. No one in the video should be wearing clothes with visible third-party logos, including NFL Team logos and apparel. However, school-spirit and "Fuel Up to Play 60" apparel is okay. Also, there shouldn't be any music other than the four tracks we've provided here to comply with copyright laws. Tracks are available for download beginning 9/22/13 and can only be downloaded to desktop or laptop computers.

Q. How do I submit my video?

A. Beginning on 10/29/13 at 12:00 AM CST, visit the Entry Form page, fill out the form, and answer two questions. Videos must be uploaded by an eligible entrant over the age of 18. The uploaded video cannot exceed 12MB. We accept the following formats: .mov, .mpeg4, .avi, wmv, .mpegps, .flv, .3gpp, webm. Please see Official Rules for more information.

Q. When do I have to upload my video?

A. Your video must be uploaded before we close submissions on 11/27/13 at 11:59PM CST.

Q. What can I win?

A. You are entering the contest on behalf of an active Fuel Up To Play 60 school and the School will receive the prize; no individual entrant will receive a prize. Five (5) Grand Prize winning schools will each receive a $15,000 grant to be used to help kids live active lifestyles, and ten (10) First Prize winning schools will each receive a $2,500 grant.

Q. How long can the video be?

A. Videos must be a minimum of 30 seconds with a maximum time of 60 seconds.

Q. Can I include an introduction or end credits?

A. You have the option to include those elements, but they will not be considered as part of the 30-60 second entry and will not be considered in judging. See Official Rules for more information.

Q. Does the video need to demonstrate continuous movement throughout the 30-60 seconds of footage?

A. No. You can edit the footage to put together your ideal entry, but the video must ultimately highlight students' physical activity.

Q. Can I enter more than one video?

A. Sorry, only one video entry will be accepted per person — but others can enter videos on behalf of the same school as well. However, each entry must be substantially different. Please see Official Rules for more information.

Q. How will you judge the entries?

A. We'll be judging each entry based on the following criteria:

  • School's need of grant as described on the Entry Form (40%)
  • Creativity/originality (30%)
  • Showcase of active movement (15%)
  • Fun and energy (15%)

Q. What are some of the reasons that a video would be rejected?

A. A few reasons why your video could be rejected:

  • It's longer than 60 seconds
  • It's larger than 12MB
  • It's not in an accepted file format
  • It's inappropriate
  • It contains music other than the provided music
  • Someone in the video has visible third-party logos on their clothing

For more information about submitting a video, see Official Rules.

Q. How do I know if my entry was accepted?

A. Accepted entries will receive an email confirmation within approximately 72 hours of your submission. Entries in the video gallery do not guarantee eligibility for the contest.

A. The contest begins on 10/29/13, and all entries must be received by 11/27/13. The winner will be announced on or about 12/31/13. Click here to see the Official Rules for more information.
